Q 3: How does Development Coaching work?

Coaching is a powerful and stimulating investment in a person and their performance…..

It begins with a FREE consultation where we can discuss what is driving your interest in coaching, who it is for (you or someone in your team), the current situation and what outcomes you are looking for.

Development coaching sessions are usually 1 hour long and the number and frequency of sessions will vary based on what you want to achieve.   Generally, we agree the number before we start and can then review progress and whether any additional sessions would be beneficial.  For example:

  • if you want to focus on a very specific/short-term objective, you may have 3-5 sessions, spread over 2 months.
  • if it involves developing mid-longer term (or behavioural) goals, you may need 6-9 or more sessions
  • or you might decide to spread regular coaching over a longer period of time to support on-going development and action plan implementation

I can coach people by phone in any location (which often suits clients from a cost and time perspective) or meet in person, generally in the Brighton area.

This coaching is tailored to you, so please contact me to discuss what you are looking for and how I can help.
