Q 2: How does Career Coaching work?

Courage to imagineCoaching is a powerful and stimulating investment in yourself.

It requires a commitment from you in terms of time, energy and finance.  Based on what clients tell me, and my personal experience of having a career coach, every second, kilojoule and penny is worth the long lasting positive impact it can have on your life.

How does it work:

It begins with a FREE consultation where we can get to know each other a bit and discuss your interest in career coaching and what you would like to achieve.  This also enables me to recommend the right coaching plan for you.  Clients have said that making this first point of contact often feels like a catalyst for change.

I meet with people either face to face in the Brighton area, or by phone.  Sessions are normally one hour long and take place during the day or on occasional evenings.

Most clients have about *12 sessions and these generally take place twice a month.  This is not a quick fix.  Making the right decisions for you can take a bit of time and you will need space to absorb all that you discover during the process, as well as time to complete and reflect on the exercises in-between sessions.

*Occasionally, if you want to stay in your current field or already have an idea about your new direction, you may find you need fewer sessions.  Or if you are not currently working, we can discuss the option of a slightly quicker/more intense version of the programme.

I also offer Coaching Gift Vouchers.  A great present to help you take the first step towards a happier working life – drop a hint to your loved ones now or give a voucher to someone you care about.
